The opportunity

As our Head of Platforms & Tooling, you’ll be at the forefront of modernizing and scaling our technology landscape. Your mission? To create and manage robust, secure, and efficient platforms that empower our teams to innovate and deliver exceptional value to our clients.

This role offers the chance to lead transformational projects, drive cloud migration strategies, and foster a high-performing engineering culture.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge platform and tooling strategies that drive growth, innovation, and efficiency.
  • Lead the evolution of developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based infrastructure to enhance scalability and performance.
  • Build and mentor a talented team of platform, DevOps, and data engineers, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver secure, operationally performant solutions that meet client needs.
  • Oversee enterprise technology, managing third-party providers to ensure reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Define and uphold standards for security, platform design, and operational excellence.

What you'll bring

You’re a seasoned technology leader with a passion for innovation and a proven track record of delivering impactful platforms and tools.

  • 10+ years of experience in technology roles, including 5+ years leading platform or tooling functions.
  • Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Microsoft preferred) and DevOps practices.
  • Strong experience in security, CI/CD pipelines, and operational best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on coaching and team development.
  • Proven ability to partner with and manage third-party providers effectively.
  • A track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement.
