What we're doing

The demand for credible, representative and externally comparable community insight has never been greater. Councils and Others are expected to comprehensively integrate residents’ views into strategic planning and advocacy. Our Community Views Service provides Councils and Others with a robust evidence base to support this need.

We take a structured approach, using a combination of standard and customisable survey questions to explore community values, liveability, health, well-being, financial circumstances, climate change, and local concerns. Our methodology ensures representative data collection through leading engagement techniques.

Insights are delivered via our views.id platform, tailored reports, and interactive workshops, equipping Councils and Others with the evidence they need for informed decision-making.

The role

We’re looking for an energetic, enterprising Quantitative Research professional to deliver our Community Views Service, which helps councils and organisations integrate resident perspectives into strategic planning.

You will:

  • Deliver Community Views projects to new and existing clients.
  • Help clients maximise insights for planning and advocacy.
  • Contribute to product design and service innovation.

About You

  • Strong social research and quantitative project delivery skills.
  • Experience managing the entire research process from proposal to presentation, including questionnaire design, sampling, data collection, weighting, analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to translate data into meaningful insights and narratives.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Commercially savvy, with experience in proposal writing and client relationship management.
  • Experience delivering professional services to government.
  • Tertiary qualification in Social Sciences, Marketing, Pyschology, Business, Communications, Planning, or a related field.
  • Curious, growth-oriented, and passionate about social trends.
