Ben joined .id as both an intern and then a graduate and now holds a full-time position as a demographic and land-use analyst within the location decisions team, identifying and estimating land-use across Australia. Having recently completed his BA, majoring in Geography and Development Studies, Ben is fascinated by the way society organises itself and its interdependence with the surrounding environment. With a profound interest in human and environmental geography, Ben is driven by the complexity of place and how no community values are specific to the next. Being his first professional position, Ben continues to learn every day from a plethora of experts around him, honing and sharpening his geographic, demographic, forecasting, software, and business skills.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys any sport on wheels, surfing, snowboarding, music, and really, really… really loves golf.
