Dan Evans
Consultant
Understanding the values, experiences and concerns of people from small areas will ultimately benefit the collective.
Interested in citizens, turning data into information and working with clients to create and influence positive change, Dan is a social researcher with more than 10 years’ experience investigating community attitudes to and experiences of planning and development, transport infrastructure, public health and a bunch of other things. Dan joined .id in April 2020 to design and deliver Living in Place – an independent, robust and repeatable community survey that seeks to understand and advance the liveability of Australians’ local areas. While comfortable designing research programs and wrangling large data sets, Dan mostly enjoys working with clients to understand how the community insights he creates can be turned into meaningful policy that will make our local areas better places to live, work and visit.
Dan and his young family call Geelong home. Dan is an avid runner.
