Demographic delays: how closed borders will impact the future demand for services
The closure of borders in response to COVID-19 in 2020 will have significant long-term effects on the demand for population, housing and other services. 1.9M fewer Australians are forecast to join the Australian population by 2041, with 162,000 fewer homes to be built in Greater Melbourne alone.
